While Naya Rivera has a talent for singing and dancing, as seen by the character she plays on “Glee,” her mother clearly has a talent for real estate. Rivera listed her home in late March 2013 for $2.1 million using her mother, Yolanda Rivera, as her agent, and the home is already pending.
The quick turnaround is not surprising in Beverly Hills, especially in the coveted 90210 ZIP code. Located at 9713 Blantyre Dr, Beverly Hills, Rivera’s home was built in 1966 and retains much of its original Spanish-style architecture.
Despite the home’s charms, Rivera wasn’t interested in holding the home for the long term. She bought it in April 2012 for $1.475 million and quickly started a remodel, extensively upgrading the kitchen, outdoor living spaces and salt-water pool to create an “entertainer’s delight and a nature lover’s dream.”
Measuring 3,300 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, the Beverly Glen-area home includes features such as Brazilian-granite counters in the kitchen, a library with a wet bar and kegerator, as well as a Carrara-marble master bath with soaking tub, and steam and sauna room.
Rivera has played Santana Lopez on “Glee” since its first season in 2009. Due to the show’s success, it has already been renewed for a fifth and six season.
