First comes baby, then comes a house … in the Hamptons.
While that may not be the normal order of things for most Americans, it’s the path that Molly Sims took.
The model and her movie producer husband, Scott Stuber, recently bought a classic shingled estate in Wainscott, NY, according to the NY Post. The 5-bed, 6.5-bath home was last listed on the market for $5.495 million by New York brokerage Corcoran. The couple’s first son was born this past June.
Like many high-end Hamptons homes, Sims’ new home has a pool, views of the ocean and plenty of outdoor living areas on three-quarters of an acre. Inside, the 5,526-square-foot home features a professional chef’s kitchen leading to an open dining and living space with stone fireplace and custom French doors. The home also has an en-suite staff lounge, a 1,200-bottle wine cellar, exercise room, and the space and wiring for a future home theater.
Sims owns another home in the Long Island area in East Hampton that she bought in May 2000 for $655,000. She previously sold another home in Hollywood in 2011 for $2.78 million.
