How to Create Online Listing Flyers

While teaching a class this week on Postlets, and showing agents how easy it is to create Zillow listings over on Craigslist, I discovered a way that you can create an online flyer to be shared with others electronically. Best of all, you can do this in 3 clicks and ONLY 15 seconds… FREE! Really?

To see the “live” flyer online, click here.

To create a flyer like the one above, just follow these next two steps. You’ll find this to be fast, simple, and an efficient way to create a nice marketing piece for your sellers’ properties.

STEP 1: Go to the listing details page on Zillow, mouse over “Edit” and select “Post To Craigslist”

: Now just click on the link “Preview in new window” and that’s it!

When the “Preview” window opens, you now have an electronic online flyer with a custom URL and Web address that’s all ready to go. Each flyer created will have its own unique URL.

Use the custom-created URL to electronically send the online flyer out to potential prospects, to the seller, maybe to other agents and brokers with buyers, etc.  The online flyer will be branded and feature all the property details and information including ALL photos and uploaded images.

You can also use the custom link to include on blog posts, blog sidebars, company and personal niche websites, etc.  You can do this with any of the listings on Zillow.  Go ahead, try it now.

Note: The electronic online flyer will not show any history information, graphs, charts, Zestimates, mortgage and tax info, rent Zestimates, or any of the additional services that Zillow provides for these listings in their normal view on the site.  There are no click-able options on the flyer page, only the option to contact the listing agent.
