You know you’ve been in Real Estate too long when…

I just had an odd, embarassing experience. In one of the many advertising industry email newsletters that I receive, I saw a headline: "New MLS Deal for ESPN". I must admit: my first instinct was to say to myself, "that’s interesting — ESPN is getting into the real estate business. Kind of a stretch for them, but I guess it’s an extension of their media business…" And then I realized that maybe I’ve been thinking too much about real estate for too long, and not enough about soccer.
