Real Housewife of OC Alexis Bellino Buys More Time from Foreclosure
UPDATE: The Bellinos sold their home via short sale for $3 million.
Last August, we reported that Real Housewives of OC Alexis Bellino and her husband, Jim, avoided foreclosure when they worked out a loan modification with their lender. Evidently, they are still not out of the woods and the Bellino’s house in Newport Beach, CA is still at risk of foreclosure (see celebrity foreclosures). The Orange County Register reports a foreclosure auction on their home was scheduled for Monday, but was rescheduled to Feb. 10.
In the meantime, the home is on the market for $3,395,000, which is a huge drop from the original asking price of $7,999,000 in 2008, according to Zillow’s Price History chart. The home description states “Owner has over $6 Million into the property, reduced for quick sale.” Reportedly, the property is a short sale in which the lender, JPMorgan Chase, would have to agree to the final price.
