Not that we’d expect anything less from the billionaire queen of daytime television who now runs her own network, but Oprah Winfrey’s Chicago apartment is a stunner. And it can be yours to rent for a cool $15K a month. Oprah’s home is located in Chicago’s coveted Gold Coast real estate neighborhood where prominent Chicagoans live in tony mansions and luxurious penthouses along Lake Michigan.

The gracious, Benjamin Marshall Beaux-Arts style luxury home is a whopping 4,607 sq ft. In addition to the views from the sixth floor, the elegant apartment home has a library, and a master bedroom with soaring, 10-foot ceilings. It also boasts the kind of formal spaces that make for pure grandeur, including a grand foyer, solarium, butler’s pantry, wine room and his and her bathrooms.

According to Yahoo!, Oprah bought the Gold Coast apartment for $5.6 million in 2006, but never lived there due to privacy concerns. She listed the home in June 2008 for $6 million, but it never sold and she pulled it from the market in January 2009.

Even without this stunner apartment to kick back in, Oprah is not exactly going to be homeless. Now that the Oprah show ended, she no longer films in Chicago and has moved to her Montecito home to work on her O Network, located in L.A.  Oprah purchased her Montecito mansion — called “The Promised Land” — for a reported $50,000,000 in 2001. It is a grand, 23,000-sq ft property on 42 acres and has 6 beds and 14 baths.
