Trying to sell his Hollywood Hills home was almost as eventful as one of his movies. According to property records, Ryan Reynolds has finally sold his bungalow in the Outpost Estate and at a steep discount.

Reynolds ended up selling the home for $1.405 million; he bought it for $1,715,000 back in 2007. Of course, 2007 proved to be a pricey year for buying real estate and despite a nice 14.2 percent uptick for Hollywood Hills home values year-over-year, values have not returned to that number yet.

Reynolds bought the home shortly before his marriage to Scarlett Johansson. The couple didn’t live in this house, but in the mid-century “Wong House,” which they sold after divorcing for $3.5 million. Reynolds did try to sell this bungalow while he and Johansson were married, but it didn’t gain any traction. He relisted in 2011, and then again in 2013.

The 1,789-square-feet house has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a remodeled “cook’s kitchen” and landscaped yards. And, typical of celebrity estates big and small, the house is gated and walled.
