Sadie Holmes Out of Financial Trouble
By: Diane Tuman, Zillow Content Manager | December 19, 2008
Good news: In October, we reported Extreme Home Makeover recipient Sadie Holmes was in financial trouble (here’s a look at her Extreme Makeover Home at 1280 Amanda St, Altamonte Springs, FL). According to the Wall Street Journal, a pro-bono worked on her behalf to absolve her of her financial difficulties, which included a lien placed on her home due to code violations around her charity business.
This news, along with the news about the Vardons avoiding foreclosure gives us all some hope that things can be worked out with a little faith and patience (here’s their house at 14300 Labelle St, Oak Park, MI). And, yes, a good lawyer, too.

Its too bad this happens. They get a huge break, and then mess it up. But this time it worked out. Good for them!

Now that is a gorgeous home (if you caught the episode). Way to go avoiding foreclosure!

That is pretty impressive. It is hard to avoid foreclosure now days, but hey, if you have a good enough attorney, it is possible.
