Sarah Michelle Gellar has been busy these past months: new baby, new show and now, a new home.
Gellar’s new place, which she bought in August with husband Freddie Prinze Jr., is a Mandeville Canyon home they picked up for $6.1 million, a small discount off the most recent listing price of $6.195 million. According to the listing, the traditional-style home was first listed back in 2010 with a $7.9 million price tag, and it went through a number of different brokerages and prices before the couple made their offer.
Built in 2006, the Brentwood property sits on just over a third of an acre and includes a large patio, “rolling lawns” and an outdoor pool with waterfall.
The Hamptons-style exterior continues to the inside of the residence, which hosts a grand entrance, wood-paneled ceilings, hardwood floors and several formal spaces including a shelf-lined library. The master suite boasts a fireplace and private balcony.
The 6-bedroom home measures 7,318 square feet, plenty of room for young daughter Charlotte and infant son Rocky. A playroom, media room and gym are housed on the third floor.
Gellar stars in the new CBS sitcom “The Crazy Ones” alongside Robin Williams. Prinze, whom she met on the set of “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” currently works as a director and producer for World Wrestling Entertainment, according to the Real Estalker blog.
