Seattle Lunch 2.0 at Zillow - July 11th

There seems to be a lot of excitement in the Seattle Tech scene recently. David Gibbons and I attended the 1st Seattle Lunch 2.0 event hosted by WetPaint & sponsored by ZenZui and EyeJot last Friday. We had a blast and met some interesting and talented Seattle entrepreneurs. To add to the excitement, Zillow is very pleased to announce that we will be hosting the next Lunch 2.0 event — already nicknamed Zillunch — at our Seattle offices on July 11th from 11:30 - 1:00 (though organizer Josh Maher beat us to the blog presses)!

Update: So we don’t get beat to the blog presses again, I’d like to announce the two speakers at the next Seattle Lunch 2.0 event:

• Rich Barton, CEO of Zillow & Venture Partner at Benchmark Capital, will speak about how the VC Industry views Web 2.0 companies.
• John Cook, Business Reporter for the Seattle PI, has agreed to participate in a Q&A to answer questions about what catches his eye and makes a story.
