Before the first “American Pie” movie, Shannon Elizabeth was a little-known actress trying to make it big in Hollywood. When the raunchy teen comedy became a national sensation, she catapulted into stardom.

Soon the actress was widely viewed as sex symbol, gracing the covers of Playboy and Maxim and staring in films such as “Scary Movie” and “American Pie 2.”  Thirteen years later, however, her life no longer revolves around the big screen. In fact, she has taken up a new career: playing professional poker. Currently, she is one of the top celebrity poker players, visiting Las Vegas regularly to compete against some of the nation’s hottest card sharks. She also had a brief stint on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2008, eventually dating her partner, Derek Hough.

Now the poker star is betting to sell her Los Feilz, CA home for $2.98 million. But listing her estate at $1.56 million more than she paid for it in 2001 is hardly a risky gamble for the star, as the Los Angeles area home boasts many ornate details and luxurious amenities.

The fully renovated 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom Mediterranean home at 3842 Carnavon Way, Los Angeles CA 90027 has sweeping mountain views that can be enjoyed from the large ozone pool and large patio complete with an outdoor fireplace. Inside, the home features an entry way accented with stained glass, a chef’s kitchen with commercial-grade appliances and a master bathroom with a 2-person tub and steam shower.
