Sheen-Mueller House Sold For Two And A Half Big Bangs

Ladies and gentlemen, get out your celebrity score cards.

It looks like one divorced Hollywood couple whose fortunes were tied to a rather popular CBS sitcom has sold a house to another couple whose big bank is also, at least partly, courtesy of CBS.

Let’s call it the place where “Two And A Half Men” meets “The Big Bang Theory.”

That would be the splendid Mediterranean spread owned by Charlie Sheen and his ex, Brooke Mueller in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to RealEstalker, actor Simon Helberg and his wife, Jocelyn Towne, purchased the home from Mr. Sheen and Mueller in mid-October for $2.9 million.

Actually, RealEstalker clarifies that Sheen had no financial interest in the house, which was owned by Mueller and her wealthy parents. And to further clarify, Sheen’s headline-generating digs are still on Mulholland Drive, where the womanizing warlock has been known to lose a Mercedes here and there.

Listing records show that Mueller purchased the 1927 Los Feliz home in 2007 for $2,575,000 and moved in when her marriage to Sheen went on the rocks. In the ensuing months, as Sheen went through his infamous meltdown and his break from “Two And A Half Men”  and their contentious divorce, the mini-mansion underwent 16 price and status changes.

As of March 2011, the house was not formally listed on the Los Feliz real estate market, but that did not deter eager shoppers from finally snagging the place.

The purchase explains why Helberg recently listed his Koreatown Craftsman for $849K, which is slightly less than what he paid in 2008.
