Hollywood’s resident funnyman Jonah Hill recently bought a new home in the suburban enclave of Tarzana, CA for $2.175 million
As The Real Estalker points out, this isn’t Hill’s first foray into real estate. Like most celebrities, Hill picked up a few properties in the last few years — including a Hollywood condo and a ranch-style home off Mulholland Drive. He sold the condo in 2008 for $835,000 but still owns the Mulholland Drive property.
Best known for his role in “Superbad,” Hill has had roles in a number of comedies including “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Get Him to the Greek,” and the animated film “Megamind.” He currently co-stars along Brad Pitt in the newly released “Moneyball.”
According to property records, the newly slim Hill bought the Tarzana home in July. Hill must have done a bit of negotiating, as the home was listed for sale for $2,399,000 and had spent some time on the Tarzana real estate market with a few price cuts. Median Tarzana home values are currently $610,300 but have been dropping 7.3 percent year-over-year.
Hill’s new home is situated on a nearly 1-acre gated, corner lot. The 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath home was described as a “natural entertainer’s estate.” With party-friendly amenities like a pool and spa, endless patios, tennis and bocce ball court, we can see a few celebs making the short commute down from LA for a few gatherings in Hill’s new pad.
Inside, the one-story home has over 4,500 square feet of living space with formal living and dining rooms, a great room leading to a kitchen with coffered ceilings and Carrera marble tops. The master suite features a sitting room, study, his-and-her bathrooms and dressing rooms.
