Terrell Owens Sells Moorestown, NJ Home For a Loss
It took five years, but Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens has reportedly finally sold his Moorestown, NJ home — for a major loss. T.O. purchased the home in May 2004 for $3.9 million while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and quickly earned a reputation around the neighborhood for attracting aggressive fans, hovering helicopters, and creating an overall publicity circus.
The NFL superstar, renowned for his flamboyant touchdown celebrations and cult Twitter following, originally listed the home for sale in November 2005 for $4.4 million. Over the years, a series of steep price reductions did little to draw buyers to the star’s home. T.O.’s Realtor declined to release the sale price or the name of the buyer, but those details will be public record when the deed is recorded.
If T.O. was able to sell for the last recorded listing price ($2,675,000), that would be a whopping $1.22 million less than the previous sale price.
The nearly 8,000-square foot house, once featured on MTV Cribs, has a professional style kitchen, jacuzzi in every bedroom, stately library, and indoor cabana.
