The Latest Home Trend

A couple of us went to the Seattle Home Show last week to take a pulse on the latest happenings in home ownership. We went in with few expectations, but we never would have thought that the show would resemble a whirlpool convention. Amid the countertop and deck manufacturers were Jacuzzis and hydro-spas everywhere! The number of jets on this one (top photo) made me wonder if it was a torture chamber rather than a relaxation pool.
We learned that whirlpools now come in all kinds of colors and sizes — including this SUPER huge model (bottom photo), perfect for the owners of SUPER huge homes and SUPER huge cars. I guess it’s not a party unless the entire neighborhood can fit into the spa.

I think the coolest home improvement feature I’ve heard about recently is solar power panels. Of course in Seattle that might not work really well…

Just thought of another good idea for a home improvement…
I once saw a house with a retractable roof over the dining room table. Kind of like a sunroof in your car, but imagine it in your house instead. Pretty sweet.

Love the idea..worked in Real Estate for 25 years and know how frustrating it can be to watch the appraisal dance!
