‘Twilight’ Star Peter Facinelli, Ex-Wife Jennie Garth Sell Toluca Lake Home
For over a year, former “Beverly Hills, 90210″ actress Jennie Garth and “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli’s divorce has been in the spotlight. Often, divorce filings result in celebrities selling former love nests and parting shared-real-estate ways like Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington Quaid, who recently listed their home.
After first attempting to sell in June 2010 for $5.995 million, Garth and Facinelli have quietly sold their 6-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom Toluca Lake home for $3.99 million. Property records confirm the buyer is “The Big Bang Theory” co-creator Bill Prady.
The home was built in 1937 by Paul Williams, who is known for designing homes for classic Hollywood stars including Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and Lon Chaney. The residence has since been renovated and expanded, though Williams’ finishes are intact including crown molding, a crescent-shaped staircase and architectural detailing.
Located on one of Toluca Lake’s premier streets, the 8,416-square-foot, gated home features a large motor court and 5-car garage. The property spans nearly half an acre with a generous outdoor pavilion. A waterfall, pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, fireplace and playground round out the amenities.
