Some things come full circle. When Vivica A. Fox lived in Granada Hills, she was at the height of her acting career with “Independence Day” under her belt and “Kill Bill” set to premiere. Fast-forward 10 years, and the 48-year-old actress is considering a sequel to the action blockbuster, while her former home returns to the for-sale market.
Listed for $1.368 million, the 5-bedroom, 4-bath home is located in Bridlewood Estates, an exclusive enclave 30 minutes from downtown L.A.
Not only is the neighborhood gated but the house also has a gate leading into the driveway. This isn’t surprising, though. Real estate agent Jade Mills has confirmed privacy is in high demand when it comes to celebrity home buying and selling.
Fox purchased the estate for $825,500 in 2003. Seven years later, she sold the place for $1.25 million.
While the 2002-built home is a contemporary Mediterranean style, the current owners’ design aesthetic is ultra-eclectic with Buddhist statues, zebra prints and touches of art deco glam throughout. A bonus room with a pool table and lounge area is one of the interior selling points. The backyard is also attractive with a stone path leading to a lagoon-style pool and spa, and a covered patio for summer entertaining.
While most known for her late ’90s film roles, Fox recently played Helene in the 2013 sports-drama film “Home Run” and Sara Louise last year in “Raising Hope.”
