1:Score the paper with a wallpaper score…available at any home center

2: Mix 1 cup of cleaner TSP Powder(TriSodium Phosphate) with 1 gallon of Hot Water and soak liberally.

3: Allow TSP mixture to penetrate…about 5 minutes and repeat soaking.

    4: Scrape away

Fill a spray bottle with warm (to hot) water spray it on the paper and let it soak in for a few minutes, then using a putty knife scrap the walls. But you have to be careful not to gouge the sheet rock.

If it is applied directly to wallboard without proper wall preparation you can’t remove the wallpaper, your only choice is new wallboard or paint over it.

If it was applied correctly use a steamer after Kris’s 3 steps. It makes scraping a breeze and gets the glue off too!

Have fun its a great upper body workout!

Use very hot water from the tap. Add dish detergent..not a whole lot. Spray directly on the wallpaper and let sit a short while. Start peeling off. Very easy & effective.

Heat water to boiling, and put it in a paint tray. Put it on the wall paper with a paint roller. Wipe paper off the wall.
