Windermere Real Estate Thanksgiving Food Drive

When the Windermere Services Company and the Windermere Foundation invited Zillow to participate in their Thanksgiving food drive with Food Lifeline, which is a local hunger relief agency in Western Washington, we jumped at the chance. The opportunity to partner with Windermere for such a worthy local cause inspired many Zillowites to give big. Over two weeks, the Zillow team collected almost 500 lbs of canned food and other nonperishable items for Food Lifeline. In total, Windermere and Zillow collected 2,430 lbs of food.
A big thank you, Windermere, for sponsoring such a worthwhile philanthropic cause!

Thanks for joining Windermere in this effort. It’s even more important this year, because food banks are really struggling to keep their shelves full. Donations have been down everywhere. Don’t forget the food banks even after the holiday season.
Windermere Real Estate is a very caring, philanthropic company, which is one of the reasons I enjoy being associated with them.

Let’s not forget the need to help feed those who are hungry even in the Summer time! Drop food off at the local food bank or homeless shelter year-round. Summer is when they tend to need it most.
