Zillow Now Powers Real Estate on Seattlepi.com
By: Jill Simmons, PR Manager | September 3, 2009
Attention Seattlites! We’re excited to announce that Zillow and the seattlepi.com have teamed up to provide the ultimate online experience for anyone interested in Seattle-area real estate.
Starting today, visitors to seattlepi.com’s real estate section are now able to search for any address or neighborhood, and use a co-branded version of Zillow.com with all of Zillow’s search functionality and content including Zestimates, homes for sale, recently-sold homes, Washington mortgage rates and Zillow Advice. It’s a one-stop shop whereby visitors can access Zillow’s hyper-local real estate data alongside the seattlepi.com’s community news and real estate reporting.
This is a great resource for anyone interested in Seattle-area real estate, whether they are looking to buy or sell a home, want to refinance or are simply curious about the trends in their neighborhood or ZIP code. And if you’re an owner or brokerage with homes for sale on Zillow, your listings will now be exposed to an even bigger audience, on top of the more than 8 million visitors who come to Zillow each month.
The launch of a co-branded Web site with the seattlepi.com follows our announcement in April 2009 that Zillow is powering the real estate sites for members of the Zillow Newspaper Consortium. Since then, 163 papers nationwide including the Tampa Tribune and Richmond Times-Dispatch have launched co-branded sites. A total of180 papers will launch real estate sites powered by Zillow throughout 2009. There will be much to come, so stay tuned!
