Brooks middle school is the best school in the 365U district in Bolingbrook. They have great teachers a good discipline system and decent students. The fights in the past years have stopped-- and that is great. Brooks' marching band is huge of about 230 students that march in it. There is also many extra curricular activities from sports to drama to jazz band. Brooks is by far the best middle school in Bolingbrook but many other schools will beat it out. I'm a student of 2013 and it is by far the best school I can think of.

This School is not all that great. The Only thing is that there is a lot of fights and drama. The teachers are not all that great. Some of the teachers are quiet not organized. The one thing i really dislike is some of the students. Some of the students distract the whole class i know because im a student for 2011-2012

I love the way teachers keep the parents up to date on edline and through weekly newsletters. My son came into the district last year from the Yorkville district. I was a bit concerned took him a while to adjust. He went to middle school at Brooks Fall 2011 and he enjoys it. Now if some of the students could stop some of the silly fights that go on and focus more on education and their future it would be great. My son has nothing but A's and B's so far and is participating in the band program which he enjoys!

Brooks staff represents the true team spirit of education. They share ideas and assist students in every area even outside of school sports and academics. The only problem - students need to meet expectations of parents and teachers and GET THE WORK DONE! Overall - Brooks is one of the strongest schools in our district.

In response to the last post the library was remodeled over the summer and has all new bookshelves chairs the works! The parents volunteered too. Brooks band will be marching in Chicago for Columbus Day so on October 13 at 12 30 tune in to WGN channel 9 and watch for the bulldogs!

Excellent school. I have a son attending his second year at Brooks. I don't understand the rating here because I feel the staff is superior and the students have great learning opportunities. Many classes have team teaching and there are 2-3 teachers/aides/students. Classes are small and teachers communicate with parents all the time about progress.

I am about to be a sophomore (class of '10) and I have attended Brooks Middle School in Bolingbrook for two years. The teachers here are in fact very qualified. Yes they teach well but what's more important is being able to connect with the students and a great percentage of teachers here have that ability. As a teacher being able to connect with students is necessary in order to maintain discipline. There are plenty of clubs each teaching a student who they are and having them take their place in the world. I enjoyed me years here and I highly recommend this school.

The princpal at Brooks is a very creative individual. He has been principal at Brooks for 2 years and prior to that he was with another school in the district. He has proven that leadership is the key to a school's success. As a parent I was given the tools to help my child succeed. My daughter flourished at Brooks Middle School. I am very please with this school.

Good program overall although I think the work could have been more challenging for those students that were excelling.
