Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT)

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.

I have attended this school for all of my highschool life and I can say with absolute certainty that there is no finer and more rounded institution to be had in the state of Kentucky. Not only does it have an impressive academic record (especially considering the diversity of its student populous) but it also provides a rich and diverse array of extracurricular activities as well as some of the best and most enriching humanities and arts courses one can find - Infact their band is going to the KMEA Music Conference in Lexington this year an honor bestowed upon only two highschool bands in the state per year.
