Bashaw is a wonderful school! My son attended school there and now twelve years later my daughter is also going to Bashaw! The teachers are wonderful always looking out for my daughter's best interest and making sure she is having fun while learning. My daughter is thriving at Bashaw and loves going to school! The teachers truly love their students!

I used to go to Bashaw and i absolutely loved it! I had lived in Atlanta before glomming to Bashaw and those schools were awful compared to Bashaw. That school was the best out of many elementary schools i have ben to.

This is the second year for my kids in this school and I do not have any complaint about it. All staff at Bashaw elementary are awesome!. They are really nice people and care about your kids. I'm glad that my kids be part of the bobcats!.

I've got two students that just transferred to Bashaw last year. It's a wonderful school. Not only are the teachers great but even the cafeteria workers chipped in to help my kids adjust to their new environment. Caring for the students run all the way from the top to bottom at Bashaw. And the PTA is great too not just helping the school but the parents as well.

I have two students at this school and have always been pleased with their education the teachers and staff and the security. My first child started here 5 years ago so I have had years of experience with Bashaw. I have never had a concern that was not addressed either by phone or in person. I know as a parent volunteer that the campus is secure and I feel my children are safe when they are in school. I feel lucky that this was the school in our district.

Bashaw is a wonderful school with great staff members who truly care about the students. My two children have received a great education the last 5 years they have attended. They have both needed extra help in different areas and their teachers have always stepped up to give them the extra attention they needed.

Bashaw offers a great fundamental education for our children and in addition the school has a summer camp science club runners club math fair and science fair. The FCAT scoring system is not a reliable manner to rate schools because for example Bashaw has a high number of students with special needs and ESOL students who take the FCAT too. I am pleased my children really feel part of the Bashaw Family and they have pride in their school. Get involved with your kid's school it enriches their education and makes great memories for both of you!

Bashaw is a great school. Mr Bennett and Mrs Stancil lead this school with a focus on school first. Bashaw offers a math fair and science fair open to all students and family. In addition two fantastic programs focusing on physical education (Jump for Fun) and the annual Art and Music festival. Students can elect to participate in chorus (grade 3 and up) a science club (grade 4 and 5) news crew recycling club and safety patrol. The teachers at Bashaw love the students and work hard to make sure there is a good mix of education learning and fun. Bashaw does offer gifted classes. Parental invovlment is not a strong as it could be. The PTO does work hard to offer family fun along with fundraising. The majority of the PTO budget goes directly back to the school in the form of additional monies for teachers professional assemblies support for the math fair library books AR Web Access special wish list items and many other things.

I am a Bashaw parent and staff member. When my oldest daughter started Bashaw I decided to become very active in the PTO and school events. My dedication to my children and their education led me to becoming a staff member. I can say as a parent we have some of the VERY BEST staff that are dedicated to all the students of Bashaw. The Administration and PTO are always open to questions suggestions and comments. We are working together to build our future.

School is a joke My sone went there and fell behnd where he was when we moved from out of state. Then we put our sone in the charter schoool at lakewood ranch and his grades shot through the roof. Dont waste your childs time here

Both of my children are in gifted classes at this school which was something that they definately needed to challenge them. It is a fantastic program! Also one of my children is in speech therapy and in just a few months you can't even tell he needed it in the first place. My experience with this school has been great. Ms. Walker is the BEST teacher EVER...she's like superwoman!!!! She lives and breathes her students and their successes.

Wonderful staff and students! We make learning fun.

I have taught at Bashaw for 11 years and am also a state licensed security guard. I am not aware of any lacking security issues at our school. If a parent feels there is I certainly would hope they would address it to the administration.

I do not like this school I had a child that attended here and the security was very low.The only reason they have art contest and stuff like that is because they want to look good my advice is to not send your child to this school

My son Lucas attends BASHAW since 2003 and BASHAW has the best 'name' here ... I see it myself. the teacher are best the security for the young students ( K - 5th) is best and the FCAT rating is great ... BASHAW is a 'high standard' school and I 'm proud that Lucas is of its 'BOBCATS'

I love it! Awesome staff from the principle through the custodians. Great after-school care program.

Not a huge fan. VERY difficult to get a child looked at by child study team at this school. Discipline needs to be consistent and kicked up a notch. I did not feel my children were safe at this school. Security measures not enforced.

My son attended Bashaw for 3 years and I was extremely happy with the education he received. He started school in the ESE program and graduated 5th grade with passing FCAT scores and was exited from ESE. The teachers and support staff (Jennifer Poole) were a critical piece in making this happen. I can not thank you enough for what you have for my child! I highly recommend Bashaw!
