If I could rate this school 0 stars I would. Chippens Hill Middle School is a beyond terrible school. My student has been going for 2 years and has had the worst experiences ever. One of the worst was when another student bullied him and 5 other students. He bullied them for months and the worst part was he threatened all 5 of them. They complained to the principal and reported the case yet absolutely nothing was done about it. This student has made the school a hostile experience their whole middle school experience. My child as welled as many others I have talked to were treated unfair because they went to the Memorial Boulevard before they entered the school. Teachers and principals have treated our students terribly just because they went to this school. I feel as if even some of the teachers have been bullying our children and it needs to be over with. The only positive thing that has come from this school is the guidance counselor Mrs.Higgins. But over all this has been the worst school experience and has made my child hate going to school everyday. I will be pulling him out of this school.

I honestly don't know what everyone is talking about saying Chippens is an awful school. I am now going into high school and I had the best three years of my life at Chippens. All of the teachers were so encouraging and wonderful a lot of the teachers are not strict whatsoever and I to this day still keep in touch with my seventh grade Language Arts teacher. As for bullying it honestly only happens when a child is insecure about themselves. I can guarantee that this problem occurs in other schools and Chippens does an excellent job in dealing with the struggles of each child. I also personally feel ready for hgih school. The teachers always tell you what to expect which is wonderful. I know not every child can have a great experience but all in all I loved Chippens and as long as you follow the rules and respect the administrators in the building you are bound to have a fabulous day and love the school/

This school is absolutely terrible. I took my kids out because everyday they would come home and complain about the teachers and kids bullying. I have definitely made the wrong choice in sending them here.

This is not a good school. There is no fun at all and the office is very unfriendly. They treat the students like babies and hold their hand all the way through middle school so they are not prepared for high school. There are no fun activities at this school and it is ridiculously strict. The teachers only worry about the lesson in class and do not seem to care about the students. The teachers here are not very good they do not seem to know how to teach. I have not had a good day at this school since I started here.

This school is by far the worst one in the district. My kids were redistricted and there has been no warm welcoming for the students for parents by the teachers or principals. There is no way to contact a teacher except to send an email and hope they get back to you. They do not have a voice mail system which makes it very hard to call in a sick child or to leave a message for a teacher. The teachers are not the greatest. My child was a high honor student since 4th grade until she got to this school. There is a Advanced Algebra teacher who doesn't have enough experience teaching advanced Algebra and more than half of the students are doing poorly in the class and these are kids who have high honors in every other subject. The guideance and principals don't seem to care that they have a very low grade point average for the entire school and the very smart high achievers are suffering for it. If you can send your child to another school I would recommond you do that. I have had nothing but bad experiences in this school since the beginning of the year.

We have been very happy with Chippens. My son is in 7th grade and had wonderful teachers. I do think they needed to help the kids when they come into 6th grade though.Such a big difference in responsibilities right away. The only thing I would say is one 7th grade LA teacher is very difficult and rude to the students parents and teachers the woman neds to retire! Otherwise Try out the Kids In The Middle program-they help out the community at functions and holidays it and Mrs. Kalet is fantastic!

This middle school was awesome my first two years but then a new principal came in and the school turned into a disaster. The teachers for the most part aregreat and willing to helpbut when you do experience one of the rude ones and try to go to the new principal and and she does not want to help at all.
