-teachers are exceptional....extremely intelligent very invested in their students expect the best strive to challenge them as individuals....not a bad one in the bunch -a lot of ways for parents to get involved however there is not an "open door" policy for parents as we've experienced in elementary schools in other states we've lived in. They grow up so fast and allowing parents to "pop in" to have lunch with their kids would be a phenomenal benefit. Also allowing parents to attend holiday parties without restriction would be a plus as well. -security has been stepped up since the Sandy Hook tragedy however it is still lacking. -the quality of education definitely outweighs any negatives I can find.

The Best. Mrs. Roberts is the best teach hands down. She cares as much about my son's education as I do. I thought I would never say that but I truly believe she does. Great communication. They handled hurricane Sandy with ease and the tragety at Sandy Hook Elementary was handled with the ut most care for our children.

From the outside the school is not very impressive. However what is happening on the inside is absolutely fantastic. It is a small school with a well taught program. There is a broad range of specialty courses that are available early on and allows the kids to grow and learn a ton. The teachers care about the students and there are plenty of enrichment opportunities from advanced math PEN foreign languages robotics and other after school activities. One word of caution however is that the attendance has been increasing and the class sizes are getting larger. This is something that will need to be addressed soon since it is impacting the relationships that the teachers have with the children. All in all a great school!
