I am a former student of this high school and I had some of the best moments of my life here. The teachers are the best in the county. The school district is a better place now with newly renovated schools. They are not the best at sports but the band is the bright spot in extracurricular activites. I actually lived in the Wynford district and went to Bucyrus because of the academics not the sports. I also think that Bucyrus has the highest ACT scores in the county.

I am a former student and a parerent of a student that does there now and have seen the school go thought lots of changes some for the good and some for the bad. It is nice to see some of the older teachers leave and getting some new ones in is for the best. And for the food........ My childeren say it is out of this world. So for all you food ladys keep up the great food.

Although I live outside the Bucyrus City School district our family made the choice to send our children to Bucyrus when given the surrounding options. If you want more than just a fancy athletic program...Like a real education...Bucyrus is the place in Crawford County Ohio!

The art program is about all that BHS has going for it thanks to Mr. Chorba. I absolutely HATED going to school here. The level of education is POOR compared to where I went to school prior. I did not feel safe at all in this school. I transfered out as soon as I could.

My son was extremely active in the sports department. With enormous pride set; He was taught so much more than academics. He graduated in the top quarter of his class. His taught teamwork and social skills. An excellent atmosphere to educate a child. The city of Bucyrus is an excellent place to raise a child.
