We have 2 children at Zoneton and we are very pleased with their performance. We know the school has been working very hard in their test performance scores and they have raised every year. About one of the only complaints that we do have is our kids very rarely have any homework.. The only reason we think this is bad is because they are going to have a shock come high school and have homework every night. Our kids are very good students- thankfully- but are very active in sports and we feel they are going to have a hard time trying to adjust to having to have that 1 or 2 hours of homework that they are not use to and juggle with the other extracurricular activities. School always comes first; and they know that. The principal is a great leader and is very active with all of the students. She is out front every morning and afternoon and greets every student by name. We love the front office person she is very helpful with the students and really cares about them.

I like this school because it is organized. The kids are under control because they have good boundaries. Go ZONETON!
As a two-year student I honestly feel that the school is not what it should be. Why you ask? It is a) the students themselves and b) the school and county administration. A majority of the students are uncontrollable even by veteran teachers and the principals can't seem to stop it. Oftentimes learning or even thinking is impossible in a typical classroom and most will get away with it and those who don't haven't a care if they're punished or not. In addition many students are forced to re-learn elementary material because others don't understand basic skills. There is not anything wrong with that but what about that forgotten minority? I am in seventh grade and the only class I'm remotely challenged in is (8th grade) band; and I can't do anything else about it. Believe me I've tried. Major discipline issues and unchallenged others? Consider other options before
this school is really bad! even though its new its still very unorangnized!
I'm very impressed with our new principal. She's wonderful. I really like Zoneton. My daughter has gone there for 2 years now.
