I really enjoyed my 8 years at Piedmont. I made a lot of life-long friends here and enjoyed the sports. I played basketball and soccer and was offered a soccer scholarship to Bridgewater College. I have a lot of fond memories playing sports and learning at Piedmont. I would definitely recommend sending your children to Piedmont.

I attended Piedmont from kindergarten through the 12th grade. This school teaches students to maintain a Christian attitude and encourages them to seek God in their own lives. Piedmont has a rigorous curriculum but it is not impossible for those with a good work ethic. It is well worth the effort. I now attend college and have been able to do so due to the amount of academic scholarships I was offered. The transition from high school to college was not very difficult as Piedmont s curriculum teaches the necessary subjects as well as self-discipline. I am in the honors program at my college and many professors have inquired about my former education. I am proud to tell them that I attended Piedmont Christian School and would recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to be growing spiritually in addition to having academic success.

My child attended Piedmont for many years and graduated from there. The teachers and principal were top notch and I could not have asked for more. It is very comforting to have your child go to college and and be so ready. If I had it to do over again I would definitely have my child in Piedmont.

I was enrolled in school here but quickly found out that after almost 5 years it was not for me. The sports are a joke the teaching staff were not all that either. They did not force religion down our throat but its not the school I would ever send my child to. It has changed its philosophy so many times and I just did not like it. I repeat I was a student at this school a basketball star soccer star goalie and there is nothing about the school I liked. I then transferred to Public schools only to find that I was way behind. I eventually had enough of the politicing going on at Piedmont how everyone had their Klick so to say that is made me sick to my stomach to even wake up and go there anymore. I just wish it was a school that was run honestly and with dignity which I found was truly lacking there when I went there. This is not the school for parents who want to give their kids a christian education you would be better off homeschooling them if you want them to have a christian education. I mean come on this school in the span of the 5 years I was there went from bad to worse. I wouldn't recommend Piedmont to my enemies. Not worth the price of admission!!!

I don't care much for this school. I went there from K5 - 7th grade. I had like 1 or 2 friends. All the teachers were good people but I didn't care for the school much it's just not for me.

For the most part the Piedmont teachers are caring. However be prepared for a lot of homework even in the elementary grades. Bullying does go on and is not corrected nor dealt with appropriately. If the victim lashes out the victim gets suspended. The grading system is such that students do flunk grades and have to repeat. This is a good school for fundamentalist Christians and "cookie cutter" students. You will be assured that they "love" your child and all is well when it is not.

I am a Piedmont parent and my son is going into the fourth grade this year. I absolutely LOVE this school! The dedication of the teachers is unbelieveable! If you are looking for a school where the teacher really knows and wants the best for your child Piedmont is that school! And that same commitment is contiued in the adminstration! This school is excelling in academics and your child will be ready to attend college! PLEASE be in prayer for your attendance at Piedmont. They would encourage you as well to be in prayer! May God bless you!

we thought after 4 years at Piedmont we had found the perfect school sadly the last year proved us so wrong. We suffered with constant substitue teachers week after week. The children we had enrolled at Piedmont were not exceling and when they were tested for a new school we were sadly informed that they were behind. We had several issues that involved the principle and when addressed the principle became very defense and it became a one sided issue. Pray hard before enrolling.

This is my second year at pcs. The elementary is great. I'm a freshman this year and I've realized that there's a serious lack in extracurricular activities. As for the sports I played soccer co-ed and volleyball only girls. Basketball is also offered. The sports aren't as great as public schools but they're still fun. The teachers are really interactive with the students and they care alot. The curriculum is pretty easy if you're a fast learner some students struggle with it. It gives a good Christian education which is needed these days. Most of the kids are pretty nice some have a very unique personality. Its kind of like a brother-sister environment which can really get frustrating. If you like honor classes this school probably isn't for you because everyone has to learn at the same pace so sometimes students are held back. Go tour it before you decide and pray.

I really thought we found the perfect school but was sadly disappointed. The older kids are being taught on video for most subjects. Some of the teachers are very closed minded and sometimes actually mean to the kids. Lots of family and close friends tied to the school so some partiality happening this is w/ the older and the younger. Please ask lots of questions make sure you're on board w/ what they believe because it will be taught even if they say it won't. Pray before you commit!

I am very thankful that we found Piedmont for our child. This school is a Godsend for us. Upon graduation my child will be ready for college - spiritually and acidemically. The teachers and principle are great-very kind and caring and professional. The teachers are always willing to give extra help if it is needed. Being a part of this family has been a blessing for my child and for us.

I would like to write from a student's perspective. Piedmont is my school and I love it. The teachers are the best and the principal works harder than anyone I know. The teachers and principal love the students unconditionally. In response to the person who wrote the negative comment if you don't like the few video courses that is ok. But please don't say negative things about God's school and cause someone who needs to be there to not come. That would be sad for someone to not know Jesus because you don't like Piedmont. I am a Christian and have self confidence because of Piedmont. I am reaching my goals and getting a great education in a Christian atmosphere. That's all I could ever ask for.

We had a great first year with K5. I wanted a more spiritual experience for my children and was uncomfortable with the exposure they were getting to strong religious undertones. This school was just not for us.

My daughter attends K4 here. I have never been more sure of anything in my life. She is meant to be here. It is a loving environment this is the first time she has been away from me and she had no withdrawls. She is 4 and has begun reading. We are amazed and thrilled. We highly recommend this school. A great place that still says grace before each meal. Highly recommended school.

This year was my sons first year at Piedmont he is currently in the K4 class. I must say everyday I find out something new and wonderful that he has learned at school that day. He has truly come a long way this year. He will be attending Piedmont as long as we live in the area. It is very affordable and worth every penny. I wouldn't dream of sending my child anywhere else. It is a very loving environment that the teachers and parents work together to maintain. Piedmont also has extended care after school which is nice since both my husband and I work. A Christian education + Love + Caring Teachers and Parents = Wonderful happy children.

The Christ-centered curriculum is the primary reason to send your children to this school. Simply the school motto states it all - 'Educating Children for Eternity.' Tuition is low. The academic standards are very high. The elementary school offers the highly-acclaimed and widely-used A BEKA curriculum. The elementary school students attend gym art and music classes in addition to weekly visits to the library and computer lab. There are sports teams (basketball soccer and volleyball) which compete locally with other private schools. There is a weekly chapel service involving the entire student body K4-12 with student performances and weekly speakers. All parents are openly encouraged to volunteer and attend all activities. Unfortunately the 9-12 grades are lacking knowledgeable teachers of upper levels in math science and foreign language. Therefore knowledgeable instructors are on videotape with tape-handlers in class. The principal can be abrasive on occasion. Overall recommendation excellent elementary and middle.

PCS is awesome! My kids will go there through 12th grade and they have been there since K4 and K5... I love all the teachers and how they bring God into my kids... Would not want it any other way.

My daughter just finished her first year at this school and is looking forward to continuing in K-5 next year. Her teacher this year was truly a blessing and the principal and other staff were always there when I needed them. My daughter started at Piedmont without any letter recognition skills and came home at the end of the year with the ability to read. If this is any indication of the academic quality I pray that my child is able to attend this school until senior high graduation. Parents are also encouraged to get involved with the events such as field day and the field trips which occur during the year. Piedmont is a wonderful close school where the students seem to be one big family. The parents also get to know each other well and strong friendships are formed. We are blessed to have our Piedmont family.

My pre-school and elementary aged children have been richly blessed at pcs. I have experienced them excelling academically and spiritually going on 2 years. They are recieving a strong foundation in a loving and nuturing envoriment. The seniors interact with the elementary students and celebrate their acheivments with them.I am encouraged to participipate in school activities and my comments and suggestions are welcome. My children my husband and I are pleased to be a part of the pcs family.

In a world of liberalism Piedmont Christian School is a blessed alternative to your average run-of-the-mill school. With over 30 years of being planted in Bumpass they acheive only the best. I have attended Piedmont since Kindergarten. PCS has had it's difficult times but we're going in the right step. I'm now a junior (11th grade) and I must say it's a blast. The teachers are not only teachers but also good friends of mine. Another fact about Piedmont is that if you want to talk about your faith in Christ or are curious YOU CAN! In today's society laws prevent much open discussion on religion due to 'Separation of Church and State.' It's always good to just sit down with folks and chat. I do not have enough words to describe the environment. It's just a blessing in so many ways. Consider Piedmont as your choice for education. IN Christ Jeffrey Seay
