My family loves this school! The teachers are so helpful and I can't say enough great things about the principal. Mrs. French is fantastic! No matter what I need someone at this wonderful school is always willing to help out.

Even when the principal admitted that the teacher was wrong in the way she was treating my child she refused to do anything about it. The teacher was "re-directed" via EMAIL whatever that means. Meanwhile I am watching a 4th grade student with a near 9th grade reading level that got a perfect score on her math STARR test and has always LOVED school turn inward and start acting out. One teacher CAN ruin it for a child and this principal should know better. We moved her to Texas Virtual Acadamy for the rest of the year where she is once again thriving!
Exemplory for a Reason! I cannot say enough positive things about Hajek's staff students and parents. Staff are professional and knowledgeable interacting with the kids in an encouraging respectful way which promotes a positive yet disciplined atmosphere. Expectations for students both behaviorally and academically are high. The teachers and staff do a superb job of keeping parents informed as to students progress. Academics are challenging and well taught. Students are not only rewarded for academic success but also for demonstrating positive character traits like respect responsibility etc. Outwardly focused Hajek fosters a love for community America and helping others in need. Teachers are great at expanding opportunities for those who are academically ahead. There is a wide array of extracurricular activities. The PTA is very active. Frequent events have a wholesome small-town feel. Hajek participates in the Watch Dogs program giving fathers a unique opportunity to be involved. The facility is amazing. The building is kept emaculatly with well maintained equipment and supplies. There is a covered playground in addition to outdoor picnic areas.
It all depends on the teacher you get. some are really great. Others just give the minimum effort. This was the school's first year so hopefully they will be better organized and more communicative in the future. Being new to the district I had heard great things about Burleson schools and I am sorry to say I was very dissapointed.
Judy Hajek Elementary is one of the best school my kids have attended . The staff is great and teachers are very committed . Thank you for all your hard work .!Keep up the good work =)
