McQuistion Elementary! This school is very strict on adhering to bullying. They have an antibullying policy strictly enforced! The principal is very much into.what ALL.students are.doing academically and socially. I am a new mom and joined the Parent teacher Organization. ( yes this school still has one)! The PTO is very involved in giving the students fun as well My son is a summer birthday now 6 and is in a K one split half day of each grade untill he catches up. The kinks need ironed out however everyone is involved in how to make this program work. The school ccounselor is involved the reading specialist principal and teachrts I would luke to see mote volunteers and mored parking. Especially for those disabled and cannot walk.far. I am hoping this school makes well changes.! My son is 6 and we started him early last year. Right now we are trying various reading groups as as academically

McQuistion is a great example of what's right with our public school system. Dedicated principal and (for the most part) teachers. If you check the staff -- there is a great mix of 20+ yrs teaching experience mixed with some younger (enthusiastic) teachers. The Accelerated Reading program is fun good mix of extra curricular activities . In both K & 1st excellent parent involvement--the PTO does a lot & room parties are always a success. Safety is a concern & there are always many teachers assigned to bus & hallway duties. Lunches are the pits--prepare to pack if you care about food quality for your children.

My children have attended this school. The teachers and parents pull together. The teachers want to help your child to do well in school. The principle is involved with a hands on approach to help his staff and students. This is a wonderful school. I give it five Stars.

My son has been at McQuistion since Kindergarten and has been very happy. The teachers are all very dedicated to their students. We have a wonderful principal who is very visual. He is very rarely in his office. When my son started to fall behind in his studies the teachers and principal all worked very hard to get him into the Learning Support Program. He's currently doing quite well because of all the caring faculity at the school.
