A new principal for Spring Trail Elementary and a new beginning. I am satisfied with Spring Trail teachers as observed by their dedication and tenure. Consider their challenge off bringing up lower performance students to a new level of learning. That is a challenge for them and they do a well job.The slogan Go tigers! is a joke there is no school sport team. Learning begins at home initiated by parents and enriched at school not left entirely by teachers

In 2011 Spring Trail received a new principal and with it a new emphasis to bring under preforming students up to par while ignoring the rest of the students. Parents need to step up and help their children learn. If more parents do this the teachers could get back on track and teach to the appropriate grade level not 1 to 2 levels below. There are few teachers that encourage their student to learn go above and beyond what is required while other just show up to work and do just enough not to get fired. District U46 needs to cut the class size back down to 20 students per class and figure out how to help the remedial students without ignoring the rest.

I think it is very hard for the teachers to teach and spend time with a student when there is 29-30 kids in there class. I think the teachers try there best but there is to many kids in a classroom.

I think every kid should go to Spring Trail. The kids are just fantastic!!! Dr. Miller is doing a great job with maintaining the school.

I love this school and love the music concerts every year! I am very sad to see Mrs. Bracken go.

What a wonderful school. I do hope it maintains the quality of care that it demonstrated while under the leadership of Mary Lou Bracken. The staff seemed so unified caring and had academic excellence as well. Too bad U-46 can't have more like this!

I love the teachers at Spring Trail. I feel that they are doing a great job with the high number of students that have in each classroom. It would be that much better of a school if class sizes were reasonable and if it was in a smaller sized school district!

I think the teachers work very hard at setting high standards and challenging the students. Unfortunately Spring Trail is part of a failing school district!
