My son started in the preschool progam in August and is truly thriving! He is my first child and looking for an appropriate preschool setting had become quit stressful...I in a way stumbled onto Shephard of the Hills and boy am I glad I did! It is truly a gem of a school with amazing teachers that have been there for years and a solid administration. They truly care for all their students and families. The added bonus of having my son start a Christian education is just icing on the cake! There are 3 teachers in his classroom and only on average about 12 children. I have been very impressed with their feedback about how my son is doing both positive and negative (its nice to know what we can work on at home!). I would recommend this school to anyone who is seeking a positive/loving environment for their children.

We have been a part of the Shepherd family for almost 5 years now. We started in preschool in 2002 and left the school in 2004 for a Gifted and Talented program in the public school system. A year and a half later we went back to Shepherd for the Christian aspect. We found that my daughter's 4th grade class was on the same learning schedule as the public school GT program for her class. Shepherd has High Academic Standards Award winning teachers and an Amazing Family Atomosphere. Today all three of my children attend SOTH K 2nd and 6th. We feel Blessed to be a part of hearing the words of Jesus every day!

We LOVE Shepherd of the Hills! Th teachers and staff are amazingly warm and caring. The children are kind and well behaved. Our daughters love to go to school every day and we feel like we have been welcomed into a big happy family. The strong academics and the loving Christian environment make for a wonderful education.

Shepherd of the Hills is an amazing school. The teachers are wonderful the curriculum has everything I was looking for (Saxon math etc.) the test scores are excellent and class sizes are small allowing for plenty of individualized attention. What is most remarkable to me though is how the entire staff truly loves respects and cares for the children (and families for that matter). Probably partly because of this the children are unusually calm sweet kind and really happy to go to school. We are very happy with the Christian emphasis of the school- it adds so much impossible in a public school. My oldest daughter has absolutely blossomed here this year in Kindergarten and my middle child is really enjoying the preschool program. After an exhaustive search of the community last fall (at public private and charter schools) we feel we have ended up with the very best school.

Shepherd of the Hills has been a great experience for our two daughters. A strong academic program variety of sports and activiites and a Christian environment have enabled them to flourish. With a solid academic and spiritual foundation they will be ready to succeed in high school and beyond.
