I have just finished my three year "career" at Deep Creek Middle and in my opinion it is a wonderful place to learn. The teachers there are very supportive of their students and have helped me through many of my own emotional ups and downs. In addition to wonderful staff Deep Creek consistently has a greater than average percentage of passing students on standardized tests. The only thing I do not like about this school is the social aspect but all schools have less than friendly students. All in all it is a great school.

We were very pleased to have our daughter just finish her first year at DCMS. She loved it and cannot wait til summer is over to get back. I want to give props to the great principal that is now moving on to other academic endeavors and was proud to have the Chesapeake Teacher of the Year as my daughter's teacher. We are going in to new year very optimistic that it will be another great year.

DCMS has treated me well in my almost three years I personaly have had trouble with other students and the administration has kept a close eye on me and the peolpe I interact with ever since. The academics are great; the current principle every year challenges her students to beat the SOL scores of last year students of the grade. So far she has done an excelent job with both the students and their parents.

This school is great! My child has been so successful there. The teachers are the best and keep me informed of how my child is doing. The principal and assistant principals seem to know all of the kids and are always there for the kids and the parents. They are even open until 6 45 one night a week to help parents!!!

The school strives for academic excellence. Great extracurricular activities are offered and there is a high level of parent involvement.
