Dickerson is a great school all teachers and the principal are very active and the office staff is helpful and friendly! Our 3 children love/have loved going here! Some of the homework seems to be excessive with some teachers but I am not entirely against it. Keeps them busy and out of trouble. Conversely if you have active kids it could be a tad much but every teacher will work with you based on your needs.

This is a wonderful school and is very nurturing friendly and positive environment for young children. All of the teachers and the principal are great. Even the office staff is friendly and helpful. I have had 2 children attend this school and they have had a great experience.

I found the school very good. Teachers were great. Didn't hear from principle often but no complaints.

Both my children go to Dickerson. There is a stong emphasis on building character in the classroom while building on the academic goals. Kindergarten (full-day) emphasizes social and fundamental skills for succeeding in the classroomn. 1st grade emphasizes getting the child to read while 2nd grade takes the reading to the next level and brings on a strong writing curriculum. Math science & social studies are also blended into all three years. The school runs an exceptional science fair each year ranked top in the state. Our experience has been positive thanks to the talendted and energetic teachers.
