PART 3 the school talks about having high moral values i don't believe it. i also think that they should recruit people for different sports like soccer cheering track. not just basketball and football. all in all rcs is officially disappointed me there athletic program the most. (funny thing is that people don't want to play them anymore though i had heard that the person who was making the schedule for the games didn't schedule against the teams that rcs has lost to multiple times before)

I want to say we transfered my daughter into Richmond Christian from another Private Christian school and I have to say it was the best decision we ever made for her. She has learned so much more about christianity and the bible then she did at her old school. She was not doing well in her old school and Richmond Christian let us transfer her and she has done remarkable well. She has turned her grades around and has made so many wonderful freindships. The teachers are awesome so kind and caring and really ready to help the student in any way they can. My daughter truely loves school again and is excited to go to school now. If you truly want a wonderful learning experience where your child can grow and come to learn and love god and morality please choose Richmond Christian.

What can I say that has not already been said about Richmond Christian School? It is a wonderful Christian school and I thank the Lord for it. My daughter graduated from RCS many years ago and now our little grand-daughter is attending there and loves it. We have never regretted sending our daughter as she learned so much that has helped her in her life. Our grand-daughter doesn't ever want to miss a day from RCS. She is presently in the 3rd. grade and has been attending since Kindergarten. She has not only grown academically but also learned so much about the Bible. The staff Principal teachers etc. are so kind helpful and show real love for each student. I would highly recommend RCS for your children and grand-children. You could not give them anything better than to send them to this wonderful school.

I am currently a Junior (That's the Class of 2015!) at RCS. I would like to begin by saying I LOVE RCS! The school could use some updates but what does that matter? The teaching material the teachers themselves and the friendships are really what matter! I've been going to this school for going on 3 years and I plan to graduate from here. As a matter of fact I'm writing this review in Study Hall right now (Don't worry I'm not slacking!). The teachers here are really friendly and want to get to know you as a student or as a parent. Sure there are the usual stressed out parts of the school year (tests quizzes exams) but there are the really fun parts of the year too! For example there is School Spirit Week which leads up to Homecoming there is Spiritual Emphasis Week (It's a Christian School!) and there is the pinnacle of it all Final Blast (aka Field Day)! I'm a member of the Student Government of RCS and I really enjoy it! SGA has a lot of involvement in the events at RCS like See You At The Pole our annual week-long Christmas celebration and Final Blast! RCS is community that you and your kids will be a part of for the rest of your lives!

RCS is a wonderful school. All the staffs and families take to heart the important of a Christian environment. At this school kids from k-12 bond and interact and share the love of God. Chaperone out number student at school events. The teacher don't babysit your kids like public school they become role model and parent to our kids.

In today's world it is wonderful to be able to have my granddaughter in an environment that teaches morality based on the bible instead of mans changing correctness. I have been amazed At the whole establishment and dedication in tEaching our children . Yes it is not free but the future of my granddaughter and our society has no price tag too high.

Richmond Christian School provides not only a top notch education but promotes high moral values and community service. The class sizes are small providing the students with individualized attention and a nurturing learning environment. The parents are encouraged to be actively involved in all aspects of the students' learning experience...chaperoning field trips volunteering in the classrooms and helping behind the scenes. The older students happily help in the elementary classrooms creating positive relationships between the grades.

I am a current rising senior at RCS and I have been attending RCS since I was in kindergarten. I love my school and I have been disappointed with some of the reviews. RCS has had such an amazing impact on me the past 12 years. Is the school old? Yes. Are the gym bleachers terrible? Yes. Is there always a different weird bad smell in the main hallway? You bet. But here there is a real sense of community among the students and teachers. I can honestly say that I love all of my teachers and that they love us. And the bonds that I have formed with my friends over the years is certainly something special. As the rising Senior Chaplain I am excited to see what God has planned for our school year and I can't wait to see RCS grow over the next few years.

I would like to be up front and state that I am currently the Principal at Richmond Christian School. I came into this role in August of 2012. I would be happy to speak to anyone about the current status of our school. I would like to address a few of the concerns stated below High School Academics As of the fall of 2013 RCS will be offering 12 AP Courses to help meet the academic needs of our highest achievers. Students will also be able to utilize an online classroom environment to take four different foreign languages. We have also implemented a much more thorough "Academic Intervention" program for students who struggle with achievement motivation organization or other difficulties. This program is intended to help students become better prepared for high levels of learning while still placing an appropriate amount of responsibility on the student. One reviewer below stated having multiple Bible teachers as a negative. I do not see it that way. We do not seek to indoctrinate our children with the opinions of one or two teachers. While teaching styles may change Biblical truth does not change from teacher to teacher. Thank you. God bless. Go Warriors! All For Him!

We are so grateful to have found RCS for our children. The dedication of the teachers has been outstanding! We love the small class size that enables the teachers to get to know each student personally and understand the best way for them to learn. Our children are challenged academically and encouraged to become critical thinkers. There is a wonderful family spirit at RCS that provides a safe learning environment for our children. We visit often to have lunch with our kids and the warmth from the staff and teachers is wonderful! We feel like the school encourages our involvement at every level. RCS is the perfect fit for our family and if you are looking for quality Christian education we encourage you to visit to see for yourself what we experience each day!

We found RCS to be a great fit for our children. We love the school and the warmth and love that each teacher gave to our children. We love RCS!

i went to rcs for 14 yrs and i had to take prerequisites to fill in the missing gaps. the have gotten rid of teachers i loved. elementary school education was good but middle and high school were not. i had a different Bible teacher every year since elementary school all the way to senior year. it left me cconfused and feeling like i had learned a little but not as much as i would have liked because each teacher had something different to say and believed somethin different. i go to clover hill baptist church which is the church that use to be affiliated with the school and i love that church especially pastor eaves who married myparents in the rcs chapel and even m parents say its changed a little. luckily i have a great church to help and pray for me as i learn more and learn what i didt learn at rcs.

RCS is a great school that has adjusted to our economy and is ensuring that those families attending are getting a quality education with caring teachers for a price no other ACSI accredited school in the area can match. If you want your child to attend a church in a school then look at other offerings. If you want your child to feel like they go to a school rather than a church than RCS is the school for you. With a large campus gym chapel multiple computer labs and quality teachers it has plenty to offer.

This school lacks solid leadership and administration. The teachers are good and the curriculum is sound but I suggest if you want to send your child to this school you truly investigate what it is you are investing in. I suggest going to Banner or Guardian if you are looking for a school that will provide a strategic education for your child. For a private school I fell the education is no better than a public school and is not worth the funding.

I can't begin to say how much RCS means to my family and me. I am a mother of a wonderful little daughter who now attends RCS. I graduated from RCS many years ago. RCS gave me a secure foundation good education but more importantly it gave me a very strong faith belief and relationship with the Lord. After I graduated from RCS I choose to go into the medical field so I could help and minister to others. I did not have any problems getting into a great university and medical school. In fact I did quite well. My daughter is also enjoying attending RCS very much. She is learning a lot and is enjoying the art and music programs that have. Her teachers are very intelligent and have teaching degrees and a lot of them have masters degrees. These teachers are very much like the ones I use to have when I attended RCS. They show the children God's love and teach them with a lot of tenderness love and compassion. RSC is so blessed to have such wonderful caring Christian teachers. We are so blessed to have a school like RCS still in existence today. May the Lord continue to bless this school all who support it and use it for the up building of God's Kingdom.

Two of my six my grandchildren attend Richmond Christian School. I love to visit all of my grandchildren but I have to say that Grandparent's Day at Richmond Christian School is beyond special. They celebrate family and my grandchildren take such pride in taking care of me while I am there for that day. I have found that Richmond Christian School is not only educating my grandchildren well but the family values that they install in our children are priceless! I pray for the school the teachers the students and the families each day! Thank you for what you do for our family and will continue to do for many years to come!! God Bless!

I attended RCS from K-5 through 12th grade and I am currently in college. I agree that while elementary school education was adequate I cannot say the same for middle and high school. High school was especially appalling. There were hardly any AP courses available only one foreign language offered (by the way I still can't speak Spanish) and next to no emphasis on art music or theater to explore. I was a top student at RCS and I had to rely on dual enrollment to fill in those missing gaps to even be considered for college acceptance therefore spending MORE money on top of this overpriced tuition. Once I had been accepted to my university of choice I had to take an enormous load of prerequisites simply because RCS did not prepare me for college level education. **PARENTS If your teens are college-bound high schoolers consider options that will fit their academic needs best. Sure this place may have the Christian environment that you are looking for but don't expect top-notch education. I know that many will say I'm being "negative" but trust when I say I speak from experience!

We have a daughter in Kindergarten this year at Richmond Christian School and are very happy that God brought us here. She has been in a loving and nurturing class with a wonderful teacher. We love her Kindergarten teacher! She has learned so much this year and has grown in academics and also spiritually. We love that she is excited to go to school every day and has the best day ever ( everyday)! The teachers faculty and staff that we have met are wonderful Christians and really love the students. We have been encouraged to participate and volunteer and be a part of the RCS family. We appreciate knowing that our little girl is taken care of each day and is getting a great education. We have been impressed with RCS all year and pray God's blessings for this wonderful school. If you want your child to be loved nurtured and instructed academically and spiritually Richmond Christian School is the school for you!

Richmond Christian is a GREAT school! Our three children graduated from RCS and each one had a wonderful experience! We visited EVERY Christian school in the Richmond area before making the decision to enroll our children at RCS. We never once looked back or questioned our decision because we knew we had made the best choice! Moving here from another state and making the transition into Middle and Elementary School were so easy for our children with the help of exceptional teachers caring staff and friendly students. They received a Biblically-based top-notch education saw Christ-like behavior modeled by teachers and staff and formed life long friendships with other RCS students. We will always be grateful for the tremendous impact RCS has had on our children and our family!

I and my siblings were some of the charter students in RCS. My parents really believed in a Christ centered education..What I gained from that school can not be measured or put in a paragraph but I knew I would sacrifice anything to send my 4 children there. Now I have 5 grandchildren there. The teachers are dedicated and really care about each child. The academic standard is high with strong leadership. I am really thankful for this school especially as God is taken out of almost every aspect of public schools.
