The results for English language arts and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles and the science results will be added when they are released in the Fall of 2013. The tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New York. My son attends the school after transferring from a local Catholic School. I find that his experiences there have been wonderful. He is learning so much more now and is more interested in school then before. The school provides an atmosphere for the kids to be unique and yet still learn from each other. The teachers are friendly and available to discuss issues concerning your child. The music and Art there is also interesting. These are courses that he was not as exposed to in the Catholic School. The parents are also very involved and very diverse. the diversity is a very positive aspect of the overall experience for my son.
