Being introduced into the Corporate World isn't everything. Instead of students being so involved in work why don't they have AP courses that really stand out more than simply working. The way I see it they have some teachers that seem to teach off a book. Not only that but this school really seems to have a bad balance between work and homework since my son has said to me so many time that he has about 4 hours worth of work that really concerns me a bit since students should also have time to do extra curriculars. As a parent this school is just nerve racking and to see your son go through is just worse

As a former student of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School I recommend this school to all Latinos. Cristo Rey has given me the opportunity to work in the real world. These jobs may seem easy but if you have never made a copy or learned how to file correctly it can be a challenge. Not only does it give me an opportunity to work in the real world it also gives me the best education that no other high school has. The teachers are great and are there for you before during and after school. As a high honor student this school as made me the person I am today and it will help me and other change the way people think about Latinos. I thank Cristo Rey for the wonderful opportunity that it has given me. Cristo Rey es una escuela que cambia el piensamiento negativo de Lations.

As a Cristo Rey Jesuit H.S. alumna I recommend this school to parents. I attended C.R. from 1997-2001. Teachers are always willing to assist students on a one on one basis. Once I graduated from college and began submitting my resume to companies they were surprised to see that at such a young age I was familiar with the corporate world. The Corporate Internship Program (CIP) helps to build confidence in the students as well as maturity. I definetly recommend Cristo Rey to parents.
