I have worked in some of the most exclusive and espensive private schools in the area and working at this school I see the most respectful intelligent students I have ever worked with. The teachers are strict but In a loving and caring way. The director has a heart of gold and teaches the children excellent manners life skills and academics. I am proud to be a teacher here. I know when I have children of my own this is the only choice where I will send them. The structure and balance make this the perfect school. It is so peaceful and loving I never want to leave ! This school is perfect tome

My son is in second grade and my daughter is in Pre-k. I researched many schools before choosing this one. It is the best school academically in this area. Unfortunately we will be moving this year hopefully we'll find a school just as great.

I sent two daughters to this school. My youngest one continues to go there even though we moved 30 minutes away. as I feel the academic foundation my older daughter received there was critical to her success in her current school where she is at the top of her class. Academically this is a really strong school. Looked at Dwight Elizabeth Morrow and this place was stronger. But it is a strange little school. The director is very controlling and expects the kids to be PERFECT. She does not like problem or hard-to-manage children. And kids like this should not enroll in this school. This is not a perfect fit for everyone but it is a wonderful option if academics are a really high priority.

My son has been attending CHM since he was a toddler. We chose the Montessori program at CHM because we think Reading Writing and Math skills are critical to building a great academic base for our child. Not every parent has the same priorities and so you should know as a parent if that is the direction you would like to guide your child toward. The director uses old-school methods to communicate but is very effective in her methodology. Our child is bright and has learned a lot during his time here. The teachers know all the students at the school and are extremely caring. All in all a great place to give quality education to your child. Some negatives 1) This school does not have a lot of extra-curricular activities (sports arts etc) and you will need to find that elsewhere. 2) They don't have a good after-school program and that can be somewhat of a challenge for working parents.

I would not recommend this school to any parent. My child attended this school for 2 years. Now he is in another school and I can see the huge differences. Starting from the director down to the teachers. I always had a very bad feeling dropping him off there. Lesson learned follow your gut.

My son has attended CHMontessori school since he was two. He loves going to school everyday. We couldn't be happier with all the teachers and parent community. We are a big family. He started reading at the age of 3 years old and also writes so well now that he is 5 years old. I recommend the school to all parents. I also would like to take this chance to thank them all for loving my son everyday he came to school.

Not recommend to anyone. The principal is holding wrong idea about academic skills and creating bad atmosphere.

Our kid has been going to CHM for 3 years now. The teachers are caring and our kid is learning well. I would recommend the school for any parents considering a caring nurturing and learning environment for their children.

High level academic standard!!!We have our two daughters at Children s Home Montessori; our oldest one has been there for 31/2 years and our youngest for 11/2 years. They both love there school and are always happy to go. We love the fact that this school is small family with every member trying to become their best. All the children are connected. You know your child is becoming their best and everyone is there to cheer them on and support them. This school offers the best program and high level of academic standards .My Favorite part of Children s home is the staff and knowing that when I drop my children off in the morning they are in great hands and will be loved.

I have been a parent at this school for 4 years and I had a great loving experience with all teachers and other parents. We attended all observations and parent teacher conferences every year and accepted the constructive feedback from the school. We tend to be very sensitive when we are told that our child needs any type of an evaluation however in our personal case it did help our girl tremendously. At that time we were sad and in denial but when she started to improve we couldn't be happier. Our experience has been pleasant and so very helpful.Keep an open mind and heart.

I have two children at this school. My oldest has been there for 2 years plus. They have progressed very quickly. My oldest was reading by 4 years old and I work full time. Everything he learned academically he learned at Children's Home Montessori. He also loves his teachers. He always wants to go to school. We are very happy with the tough academics as well as the teaching staff which is great with our kids. We are very grateful to the school.

Really awful school and belongs in a horror movie. If you want a caring educational environment this school is NOT the choice for you. I just wish I had known all this before...

A dream come true My daughter just started school and I was very worried because she is very sensitive and cries a lot. I am happy to see her now after only two months eager to go to school yes eager and happy. She can'st wait to go to work and play with her friends. My dream come true. I think this is only possible with loving and caring teachers. She has learned all the sounds now and the most important of all she has learned to listen and respect others in such a short time. What a great Montessori. I did exactly what Mrs. Dellepiane said and the results I saw immediately! Excellent

Speaking honestly the reason why we enrolled our oldest at this school three years ago was the convenience of its location and the tuition compared to the other Montessori schools in the area. We are so happy with the results that even though the location is no longer convenient for us when it came time for our youngest to enroll in school we did not hesitate to enroll her there. Our oldest is right where I expect a four year old should be academically. I agree with the others that the director runs a tight ship and is very controlling and very involved in every classroom. I also agree with other reviews that the director is blunt and does not mince words but that is something I personally appreciate. As parents we tend to be over-sensitive when it comes to our kids but sometimes facts are facts and we need to accept that. As far as communication with the school what we found to work best is writing our questions and giving it to them in the morning when we drop off our kids. We always get a written response the same day.

My children are currently enrolled at this school. I could not be happier with the results. My oldest has been there for three years and he has learned a great deal academically. He has grown into a self sufficient social and confident 4-year old. He is always happy to go to school. His teachers have been kind and supportive women. The director runs a tight ship. She s very controlling and involved in every classroom. She is blunt and does not mince words. She is a great educator and I believe is committed to all her children succeeding academically. I will say that communication with the school can be difficult. (No email) They could use a full time administrator who isn t also teaching and managing. I also wish parent teacher conferences were with the teachers instead of the director. But I think if you want a conference with a teacher you can request it. Aside from those inconveniences this is a good school. It is not perfect.

The school is either a terrific school or terrible school depending who you are. Based on my own experience and the mixed review here the director is not treating all the kids or parents equally. Or something fundamentally changed since Mar 2011. As of now it is a terrible school.

I could not be happier with this school my daughter loves to go every day there is a high level academics with individual approach to each child and also the children learn values such as respect discipline responsibility etc.The teachers are wonderful patient and caring. Thanks to the director(Mrs.Dellepiane)-my daughter is well on her way to be a very good student.

This is a horrible school. The principal is very controlling. Very difficult to communicate with her. They don't even have Internet. The instruction is very robotic. I regret I trusted my child to this school thinking it was a great one. My child is still having low self steem issues because of the way they handle certain issues. I don't reccomend Children's Home Montessori School to anyone.
