Two of our children began elementary school in a small private school when they were going into 2nd & 5th grade we made the decision to enroll them in our local school district. We have never looked back. We can not say enough about how wonderful our experience has been at Whittier. All three of our children have had amazing teachers who truly care about them and their academic success. We love Whittier and the Clinton Community School District!

Whittier Elementary has been wonderful for my son who has had struggles due to ADHD. Every year (he's in 4th grade now) he has shown amazing improvement and this is due in part to the exceptional teachers and staff who work with him daily towards success. I am promptly notified of any issues and/or accomplishments my son is having and have had excellent communication with everyone involved in his school life. It's this perfect team effort with my son that has led to him not only meeting his IEP goals but to surpass them and literally SOAR above allowing his IEP to be completed! I feel so grateful for having such a wonderful school for my son and couldn't be happier. Thank you Whittier!!

The kids love the therapy dogs that roam the halls! Our PTA is amazing and supportive! We just raised money for new playground equipment!! We have fitness Friday's and the kids exercise to fun music as a whole school for a minute every Friday morning! We have a school wide positive behavior incentive party every 6-8 weeks!! It's a great place to learn!

Whittier Elementary has amazing teachers who care about our children's education but more impotantly they care about their well being and their emotional needs. I am a very proud parent of two children who love their school and take great pride in telling people about Whittier their school environment and the amazing teachers and staff.

Whittier Elementary is truly a great school! My son looks forward to going everyday and always comes home with a smile on his face and always proud of what he learned/accomplished that day. All of the staff at Whittier strives on our children's success and main purpose is to teach our children! Lastly I can not say enough how lucky we are to have Mr. Kennney as our principle he goes above and beyond for our children and also cares so much about his staff! He knows all of the students names and always remembers something particular about the student so he always has something to talk to them about!

The staff is exceptional! They truly care for the needs of the students. The principal has a lot of experience and is wonderful with the students. We switched from another school in the district and we couldn't be happier with the change in our child.

Whittier is a great school. My son is in kindergarten with Mrs. Hensel who he adores. He is always excited to go to school. He always has great things to say about the other teachers. Whittier sends out a weekly newsletter that is very informative. There seems to be many after school activities for the kids/family. The Whittier PTA is very involved. Every time I stop in the office I am greeted with a warm welcome from both secretaries and the principal.

I am a parent and a employee here at Whittier. I have lived here in Clinton for 7yrs now. Our daughter attended another school here in Clinton and we were not the impressed with it and made the chose to have her reassigned to Whittier. We couldn't be happier! She is succeeding in all areas the staff is of great help to her when its needed and keep me informed as well as a parent. Our son also attends Whittier. Both of our kids hate missing school they love gong everyday. As well as I do. Great staff and Kids.

My grandson is in the third grade at Whittier Elementary. He is getting a very good education with great teachers. I volunteer at the school so see first hand the wonderful way the teachers are with the children. They keep them in line but have a fun time doing it. Since I drop my grandson off at school in the morning I notice that Principal Kenney is outside welcoming the kids each morning as they are dropped off at school - even when it is below freezing.

Whittier Elementary is a caring school with high expectations for behavior and academics! Teachers are willing to answer questions or concerns about my children's education. They are very friendly and eager to help. My oldest has gone through Whittier and my younger two are still there. I purchased a house within Whittier's attendance area on purpose 15 years ago because of Whittier's excellent educational values then. From what I can tell things have only gotten better!

Whittier has friendly caring staff and has a warm friendly environment. I like how my son is held to high expectations and is enriched through the TEP program.

This is a wonderful school with caring and nurturing teachers. The principal and teachers make sure students are learning at high levels and they are very involved in their students' lives. My son has gone to Whittier for 4 years now and he has grown tremendously. When he started school he was very shy and cried every day. Now he loves school and loves his teachers and friends. He is actually upset when school gets cancelled! I could not be happier with Whittier and I talk highly of this school to anyone who has a young child getting ready to enter elementary school.
