NHHS provided my children with a terrific education and wonderful learning and sports experiences. They made lifelong friends with both other students and teachers. Each child went to high quality colleges and attended graduate school at Johns Hopkins and University of North Carolina before beginning their respective careers. I can not say enough good things about their experiences at NHHS and the Clinton Township School. District.

I honestly hate this school. Although it's safer than a lot of public schools and bullying isn't a huge issue here it's the teachers that sort of ruined my experience. North has some good teachers- well-educated on their subject matter know how to teach properly understanding and fair. However a lot of others have a "I'm better than you and don't forget it" attitude towards students. I've watched classmates being constantly put down by our teachers. These teachers demand respect but do not respect us in return. Many of them do not know how to teach properly and are very confusing and unsympathetic when a student doesn't understand. Some teachers should be teaching different classes as well in my opinion- for example it is well known here that Honors history is much harder than AP due to the different teachers teaching them. The school is also very dirty. Overall my experience has been one of anxiety condescending behavior towards students and filth.
North is a great school and has been an overall good experience for me. I am currently enrolled as a Junior and North has given me the space I need to grow academically. The honors and AP programs are great and the students are very driven. If you're an honors student at North you will probably excel and get into a prestigious college but it's easy to get lost in the cracks of this large school if you're in all college prep or core classes. The school is very safe and friendly but many of the students try in school for the wrong reasons. Most of the honors students don't really care about their subjects at all they just want to look good for colleges. Overall though North is a great facility with great academics.
This school was amazing. My children all received and excellent education and were all accepted in prestigous colleges. I would recommend this school district to any parent who really want the best for their children.
This was a wonderful school to attend. Great quality of academic programs. Many extracurricular activities and much parent involvement. Very safe school environment
I actually graduated from North Hunterdon in 2002. I thought it was an amazing school. In a great area with really great teachers and staff. I loved my high school career!
I'm actually a former student from North Hunterdon. I went to North for my first two years of high school but moved to Salt Lake City Utah. I was so amazed at how good North was compared to the high schools in Utah. I believe I was privileged to go to school at North Hunterdon after seeing what it was like to go to a different high school. Not only are North's teachers amazing and dedicated to their work the school's atmosphere is generally very safe and welcoming. There is no gang activity and the graduation rate is so high. When I moved to Utah about 1/16 of the girl students in my grade had either been or were pregnant but at North I had only known about one teenage pregnancy in the whole school when I was there. I recommend North to anyone who wants their children to succeed.
