St. Joseph not only has an advanced academic program but also has programs designed to help those that need extra attention. Tutoring is available at all grade levels and the teaching staff is highly qualified and extremely dedicated. Programs are available to help prepare the students for academic placement exams in local Diocesan High Schools. These programs are not available at many other local elementary schools. Extracurricular activities are offered for all types of interests. The school's athletic program is funded and supported by a parental booster organization and is the envy of many other schools. Music drama and art programs are available through the school as well as successful academic teams. The success of the school can be attributed to the strong connection between the parish and the school as well as superior parent involvement. This involvement continues into previous generations with grandparents volunteering in enrichment and tutoring programs.
