This is a excellent school with top rank teachers and AP programs. We moved to Monmouth County for the schools and are extremely happy with choosing Colts Neck. We also considered Holmdel Rumson Fair Haven and Little Silver which also had good schools with similiar home prices. We choose Colts Neck because we loved the large county property sizes horse farms and proximity to Rte. 34 Rte. 18 GSP Monmouth Mall Freehold Mall and downtown Red Bank. Marlboro also has good schools but it is more crowded than Colts Neck and has a high tax rate. You can however buy similar homes for $200 000 less than Colts Neck if you are ok with smaller lots and more traffic.

When compared to other towns of similar wealth Colts Neck Highschool ranks on the lower end. (Think Rumson and Holmdel)...also Marlboro Highschool consistently ranks higher than Colts Neck and the housing market there is slightly cheaper. If it could be done over again I would have moved to Marlboro.

Great school especially the honors classes and Learning Centers. My son was accepted to a top Ivy League school. Brand new facilities and state of the art building. Extra curricular activities are also very available for band theater clubs as well as all sports.

The school where my child goes is very good. They have special program ESL.

Colts Neck High School is a safe school with a very good curriculum. It provides a very watered down version of the classic high school experience.
