This school is awesome! I am still a student in this school and the teacher is very nice also the principal. But still the homework especially math's homework is too easy for me. I love this school I wish I can keep staying her forever!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SMITHTON.

I was a student at this school and This school is amazing. It has great teachers all around and everyone is nice there. You are put into teams for the two years that you are there and they become like a family to you. Its not about who you know in elementary because when you get to junior high everyone who was on you team you are still on friendly terms because you become like a family.

I was a student at smithton middle school last year. let me tell you its a pretty good school. You get to learn some pretty cool stuff and meet some pretty awesome people. The only bad thing is you have no freedom to do what you want. You have to stay with your team and you never see your friends from other teams. But otherwise its a pretty good school

My son is in the 6th grade this year. Smithton has been an excellent experience so far. The music program(s) are extraordinary; offering band strings and choral music. It's outstanding that the school incorporates this into the regular school day. So many districts have made music an 'extracurricular' activity. The math and science faculty do a great job as well. My son comes home saying things like 'math is fun' and really enoys his math and science classes. It's nice to have a school that truly motivates their students. My only minor complaint is that the 'team' thing goes a little too far by making kids stay just with thier team at lunch hour. My son has some friends from grade school that he doesn't get to visit with at Smithton because they are on different teams. But that minor irritation is far outweighed by the positives.

Students are on a 'team' and will have the same classmates and teachers for two years (6th and 7th grade). Parent involvement at the school is high and there are a lot of extracurricular activities in addtion to band choir industrial arts drama and so on.
