we have attended CCCS for 8 years and we are very happy with it. I have often thought of it as a home school environment with the benefits of the socialization of the classroom. As a product of the public school system I know what I experienced and did not want this for my children. This school wants to create and foster a desire to not only enter the world and succeed but to actually make a positive impact/change. I am sorry for the person who say this school is just like the public schools with regard to behavior becasue she is WRONG. The teachers are dedicated and go the extra mile for students. From what I have heard our high school students perform very well on standardized tests.

Our time at CCCS couldn't have been better and I would give anything to take the school with us when we moved. The future of Covenant is SOO bright; I'm so sorry we're missing it now but any parent who's looking for a superior Christian college preparatory education should look here because the value is unbeatable!

My child has been at CCCS for 6 years and we hope to continue her education there through High School. The teachers have always been compassionate and attentive as well as being committed to the standard of excellence in academics and behavior. What impressed us most when we first visited Covenant is their core philosophy which is that the school's purpose is to *supplement* the parents' teaching not supplant it (in sharp contrast to many public schools these days). Covenant's stated goal is to educate the student in preparation for a life of service to God; I see evidence of their success not only in my middle-schooler but also in the lives of respectful & hardworking students in every grade. As another parent said no school is perfect and Covenant has all the advantages and disadvantages inherent in smaller schools; but this school is a blessing and our family highly recommends it.

Two of my children have graduated from CCCS. My daughter is attending Wofford College making a 3.97 with a double major in English/History. CCCS adequetly prepare my children to compete academically in the college world. But more than that my children were given the precious gift of a Christian world view in all subjects. My son is in the military and is active in ministry on base. My youngest son is finishing middle school. I am excited for him to enter high school at CCCS because of the Classical emphasis with the Christian world view. The teachers and staff are dedicated to excellence. The parents are actively involved with the school. As stated below the school has been a tremendous blessing our families lives. If you want a small caring family oriented enviornment for your child that nutures not only the student academically but spititually CCCS is the place!!!!

Covenant Classical Christian School is an educational experience that encompasses not only fine academics but also emphasizes a 'true' Christian world view with each subject taught. The sports program is well developed and very competitive with other schools. The talent is highly visible and greatly displayed not only in our sports but also through our 'Fine Arts' program. It gives me so much joy to see the work and excitement that goes into our drama and music productions. The students are the best! Parent participation and dedication is of the highest quality and second to none here at Covenant. The PTO and staff work closely with one another to make each event a success! Our highly qualified staff surrounds the students with much caring and sincerity in all they do and say. Covenant is a small campus with a 'BIG' heart for Christ and His community!!!!

Our son recently graduated from CCCS where he attended 1st-12th grade. He is now a freshman in college who is well grounded in his faith and academics. He was consistently taught from a Christian world view and had the opportunity to be involved in many activities he may not have had the chance to had he been in a larger school. He still corresponds with some of his favorite teachers and will tell you they have had a profound effect on the young man he is today. Our daughter has attended CCCS since Pre-Kindergarten and is currently in high school. CCCS has nurtured her God-given gifts and abilities and she excels academically. More importantly she is challenged and encouraged in her faith by her teachers and her classmates. She and some of her friends have started a weekly Bible study that meets during lunch and includes middle and high school girls. As we raise our children it is our goal and prayer that they would become godly young adults. CCCS has assisted us in this goal and I give thanks to the Lord for his provision for them through the years. There is no perfect church and certainly there is no perfect school but CCCS has been a tremendous blessing to our family.

My son graduated from this school. It was unfortunately a very poor experience. The scholl is elitist where some kids are favored over others. My son experienced very little dicipline. Teachers lacked experience. My son had difficulty getting into college and is struggling greatly. If your child already excells it is a school that will teach them to think on their own. If your child struggles they will receive very little help. The Christian atmosphere was better than a public school but lacked sincerity. Most of my son's graduating class moved on with questionable morales.

The most important things I consider for my children's education are Christian worldview in the classroom academics and discipline in the school. In regard to these I give Covenant Christian School (CCS) I give three thumbs up. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful caring people. The classical curriculum has provided my children the knowledge they need but also has taught them how to think through issues. One of my children has graduated and received numerous scholarship offers and is now doing very well academically in college. (Note CCS does not give a 'state diploma' because it is not a public school; however because it has received accreditation through a national organization its diploma is accepted by all colleges.) If sports is most important to you in choosing your child's school that should factor into your decision. CCS facilities are not new but they are clean and do not hinder learning.

Extra-curricular activities are lacking and no sports program to speak of (only soccer and basketball). No gymnasium or football/baseball fields. Facilities are run down and need updating. Teachers are generally great although some are a little lax with discipline. Sent our children there for the Christian environment but they heard bad language just as they would anywhere else. Dress code is enforced for some and not for others. Students are forced to attend formal events. Graduates do not receive SC state diplomas. Ask lots of questions before you enroll your children.

Being students at Covenant Christian School was a great experience for my children. We moved here from out of town and they found a warm welcome and acceptance. The teachers took a lively and personal interest in them. I was pleased with the academic quality of the school and have recommended it to other parents who sent their children to the school as a result. Best of all was the strong and loving Christian environment that reinforced the values we were seeking to teach at home. Both my children are recent college graduates and Covenant School was an important part of their preparation for success. My deep appreciation goes to all the faculty members for their teaching excellence and commitment. I am also grateful to Covenant Presbyterian Church for its many years of support for the school and ultimately to the Lord for making it all possible!

Our oldest son attended graduated from this school. He was well-prepared academically for the SAT and for college. He had no trouble getting into a good college. A focus on Christ and Christian teachings pervades this school. The small classes and personal attention are significant positives that outweigh the somewhat limited options for sports and extracurricular activities.

Our children attend CCS and so far we are satisfied. It is a Christian school in more than just name. The teachers are devout Christians and this is apparent in their teachings and actions. The school is lacking in the sports and music departments though. They do need more space to accomodate more extra-curricular activities.
