Very few of the teachers at Columbus North actually care about the students they teach. The final project that they had my kid do was useless and forced my child to jump through an ungodly amount of hoops just to graduate. It didn't matter that they were an A student throughout their high school career they still threatened him with not graduating if he didn't complete it to their taste.

We recently moved here from a northern Indianapolis suburb and the quality of this school is appalling. Although there are some excellent teachers the majority of them don't seem to care and use assignments that they find on the internet without evaluating the quality of the assignments. Although parents are involved in the successful extracurriculars the school administration does not welcome parent involvement or suggestions. I have no idea how they choose which teachers to hire but it seems wrong for the principle to hire his own son who is appears to be one of the worst Spanish teachers in the country.

The academic curriculum is excellent the after-school programs are first rate and many parents are involved.
