I have two children in this school. My boys like the school they said it is the best school. My children happy I am happy. To all the teacher keep it up your good work . Communication is the key. Caroline
I agree teachers do offer your child every chance to succeed. Unfortunately while they teach against bullying they do the minimum to address or correct the situation. There is also a problem with theft. We found a great disparity in athletic team support as well as coaching commitment. What's more there appears to be a tug-of-war between athletics and the music department as it pertains to student participation.
This school has great teacher communication great IEP involvement teaches against bullies and the teachers do everything they can to see your child suceed. I have never been or felt more at ease than when my child started going to this school. It is also clean and well kept.
I LOVE this school. Its like a whole Irish community. I love love love love love it. Mr. Nosker is an outstanding principal when my older sister went here and our house burned down he created a school-wide food drive for our family because the fire left us with nothing. I'd recommend this school to anyone there is great personal attention to anyone who needs it and the music programs are AMAZING.
I am a student! This school is the best in the universe. Davis is a great school because Excellent teachers Strong principal/school leadership Challenging academic programs WE ARE PROUD TO BE THE DAVIS IRISH! )
Communication from anyone in administration is almost non-existent in this district. If you are from a district in which you receive constant communication from the principal superintendent or others then you will be very disappointed with the level of communication in Dublin. Even calls and emails go unanswered. The curriculum is supposed to follow state standards but I have found that it can vary widely within a grade level depending on the teacher. The educational value is solid but not outstanding. There are plenty of extra activities for students.
This school is great I love it! everyone is happy and the staff is great
I am not impressed with this school. Its easy to teach kids who are 'A' students. I dont see a robust enough program to help students who are struggling to achieve.
This school is very conscious of the students needs and is always trying to exceed the state standards.
We are very pleased with the quality of teachers and study programs for the students
This school has strong teachers though many are getting burned out. The discipline is very weak due to weak principals. There are times when the safety of the students is compromised by inaction from the principal.
This school is very well organized and very envolved. The teachers are fantstic. The music program is great.
I recently graduated from Davis amd my expericece there was AMAZING. The princple Dave Nosker was the best by far. The learning system there is tuff but the teachers make so easy. Now the food here is not all that great but I adjusted with it. So basically I can say that I am very proud to have went to Davis Middle School!
This is the best school my youngster has been in. She is only in sixth grade thus she cannot pastime any sports although in 7th grade she is willing to test everything
I had a wonderful experience guest teaching at Davis this past year. I will miss everything about the school!
This school is one of the most proficent and respectable schools throughout the district and state. Davis has a community with outstanding parents and students. The principal and asst. principal are some of the most involved principals they are the best! i have ever seen. The School Resource Officer is also a wonderful man. The idea of Character Counts is inforced in this building to a extent that i have never seen. The teachers and staff are always there for the students in out and of the school. The extracurricular activities are amazing! Once again the staff and teachers no words in the english dictionary can describe how caring they are. When you look at Davis you see more of a family with a learning enviroment not just a 'school' I will miss this school so much!
This is a great school district. The principal Dave Nosker is a great leader and the staff is top notch. They will provide a great opportunity for your child to succeed. Their music and sports programs are especially strong.
I am a parent of a Davis Middle Schooler. My daughter is in the 8th grade and has been in the Dublin School District since 2nd grade. The academic program is excellent; I know of no better education than the Dublin SD. My daughter has excelled to her potential each year. I feel she is challenged and the teachers are incredible. Parents can get involved as they want to -- the teachers welcome that.
Davis is the absolute best school ever! My daughter now goes to Davis and thinks the classes are the perfect level and the people are so nice! Well I just want to say that if you ever are trying to find a middle school in dublin ohio choose DAVIS.
