We have one child in the middle school and one in the elementary and could not be happier. We have been a part of the Imagine family since this school opened--and we are a "family". Not only are parents' ideas and suggestions addressed immediately parent involvement and feedback are encouraged. School to parent communication is excellent. Any time I've sent an email to a teacher or the prinicipal I've received a response within hours. There are weekly emails from the school an informative website and many teachers have their own websites set up for individualized information for their classes. There is a reason there is a long waiting list to get into Imagine--it's the best. I'm very thankful that we got our oldest child in at the beginning!

This is the best little middle school you could ever ask for. My son is going into 8th grade this year after having a fabulous 6th and 7th grade here. The teachers are wonderful considerate and the work is challenging. Teachers do not simply lecture while students take notes. The students are actively engaged in projects technology and they even have a wide variety of live animals!! The atmosphere of the middle school is friendly and warm. With such a small body of students there are none of the issues you find in large middle schools such as bullying fights vandalism etc. In fact this past year Imagine Middle was named a national Mix-It-Up Model School by Teaching Tolerance because of their outstanding program. My son feels welcome there everyday. The teachers are supportive and offer plenty of assistance to struggling students. For a little school they have everything you could want even interesting electives such as HS Spanish Computer Science Environmental Science Journalism and even Musical Theatre. They have also begun to compete in county sports leagues and have basketball soccer track and cheerleading teams. Why would I put my children anywhere else?

This is an offshoot of the elementary school. It is constantly changing its method and process of education and not always to the benefit of the students. Poor teacher pay leads to a limited selection of available teachers and poor teacher retention. Being a charter it does require volunteer hours but this charter has a higher requirement than others around. A lot of fundraising. To sum up the school Your child will receive and average education sufficient to meet the sunshine state standards (which are pretty low). If you have higher that average expectations pick another school!
