Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT)

In 2010-2011 Georgia administered the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) in English language arts, math, science and social studies to students in grade 11. The GHSGT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Georgia. Students must pass all parts of the GHSGT in order to graduate from high school. The goal is for all students to pass the test.

Being a student here taking honors and regular classes this school is your average high school. The honors and AP classes are great! Teachers really care about us in those classes. In regular classes its average. The students are different (I guess that's the appropriate term) but it depends on who you hang around. The school's band is the best in the school's district being that many students attended multiple honor bands received all superiors in Large Group Performance Evaluation. The Chorus Program is good too also the Art program is great too they a lot of galleries the community can view. We have One Act and the performances are always great. Overall the entire Fine Arts program is one of the best in South Georgia. The sports program is great too our Baseball team is great but the Football team is improving. I have high hopes for the upcoming Freshmen (the class of 2018). More importantly the academia is great here! It all depends on your teacher. The Science Department is superb as well as the English Math and Social Sciences. If you're child attends here they will be exposed to different people and I am sure they will do good! Many programs here to be a part of! )

this is the MOST terrible school I have ever attended. I have been bullied since my freshman year (now a junior) and they just do not care about the well being of some of us. I have tried in many attempts to have this issue resolved only for it to get worse. I no longer wish to attend this school because everyday a bully gets in the way of me doing what I need to do. half of the teachers don't even teach nor do they speak up when im being bullied which I know they see. I HATE this school and I don't think any parent should enroll their child here

I think this school is doing an excellent job with the students.

I really enjoyed going to this school. The teachers really seem concerned about what goes on with the kids while they learn. That really makes the kids want to keep on keeping on because there is a sign that someone really cares.
