What I Love About My House

Garrett McAuliffe — Location, location, location! What I like most about our house is the peace and tranquility of living in a forest combined with the convenience of being only five minutes away from downtown Bellevue. I love that when I get home our dogs come running through the trees to greet me. I love that my wife and I can walk out our back door onto a trail that leads into the state park behind our neighborhood. I love that we built the home from scratch to perfectly match our lifestyle – the kids can play pinball in the game room upstairs while the adults enjoy the company of friends on the main floor. In the summer, we slide open our wall of windows, and our back yard and living room combine into one big entertaining area. In the spring, we watch the Rhododendron's explode with color outside our dining room. In the fall, the maples go crazy red. In the winter, we relax by the fire or watch a movie in the theatre. It's the perfect home for us.
