What I Love About My House

Spencer Rascoff — In 2010, my family and I decided to move from our home in Madison Park to a rental in the View Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. I love a lot of things about our new place, but the most important feature of the home is the backyard playground. Our two kids spend countless hours on the monkey bars and the slide, with their puppy endlessly chasing them from the ground. That's what it's all about, isn't it? I also love that there is a large playroom and art room for the kids in the basement, and that the master bedroom has a window seat with a great view of Lake Washington. True, it's "just a rental", but maybe renting is the new buying?
